Anton signed an Exploration Development and Production Contract (EDPC) of the Dhufriyah Contract Area with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil in November 2024. The ADO Digital Energy DMCC was established as the operation company of the Dhufriyah Contract Area which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Anton group. Currently, ADO is the solo operator of the contract area.
The Dhufriyah Contract Area is in Wassit Governorate, approximately 190 km southeast of Baghdad and near Al Kut City. The block is under the jurisdiction of the Iraqi Midland Oil Company (MdOC).
As the operator of the Dhufriyah contract area, ADO is pursuing the development of a “5D Oilfield” based on the principles of “Digital Innovation Empowerment, Co-creating Infinite Possibilities”. The goal is to transform Dhufriyah Contract Area into a leading example of advanced and green oilfield development.
