On June 29, 2025, the second Joint Management Committee (JMC) meeting for the Dhufriyah Contract Area was successfully held at the Petroleum Cultural Center in Baghdad. The meeting brought together JMC Members and key members of the project team. Both sides engaged in in-depth, candid, and productive discussions, reaching a number of important consensuses that laid a solid foundation for the accelerated progress of the project.

The successful conclusion of this meeting not only strengthened the partnership between MdOC and Anton in the Dhufriyah Contract Area but also provided a clearer roadmap for near-term priorities and development directions. It injected strong confidence and momentum into the planned commencement of drilling operations in 2025.
